Our customer in Ashton, Illinois is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Production Associate to work full-time on 3rd shift. In this role, you will support food production operations by filling, sealing, and inspecting dry food mix products while maintaining strict quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities of the Production Associate:
Fill bags with dry food mix accurately and efficiently.
Lift and handle products weighing approximately 5055 lbs. (work performed at waist height).
Operate bag sealing equipment as needed.
Perform visual quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Maintain attention to detail throughout the production process.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
Support production goals by working efficiently as part of a team.
Production Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to lift 5055 lbs. throughout the shift.
Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
Must wear steel-toed boots (boot covers provided; boots do not need to be new).
No nail polish and no visible piercings, including tongue piercings.
Ability to read and communicate in English.
Reliable attendance and willingness to work overnight hours.
Pay for Production Associate:
$18.00/hour.
