Pay Range: $16.12

$24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience
Schedule: PRN (As Needed), Weekdays
About The Role

As a Physical Therapy Tech in Pediatric Therapy at Quincy Medical Group, you will support licensed pediatric therapists in helping children develop strength, coordination, and functional skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting families, and contributing to a positive, encouraging therapy environment. You'll play an important role in making therapy sessions engaging, safe, and effective for pediatric patients.
Primary Responsibilities

Assist pediatric physical therapists with therapy exercises, play-based activities, and treatment plans.
Supervise and support children during therapy sessions to ensure safety and proper technique.
Prepare therapy spaces, equipment, and age-appropriate activities prior to patient appointments.
Clean, organize, and maintain pediatric therapy equipment and treatment areas.
Assist with patient transitions and positioning, using age-appropriate communication and support.
Help maintain smooth patient flow and a welcoming therapy environment for children and families.
Provide encouragement, redirection, and positive reinforcement to pediatric patients.
Follow infection control, safety, and pediatric-specific care standards.
Perform other duties as assigned to support pediatric therapy operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with children or in a pediatric setting preferred but not required.
Ability to assist with physical activities and remain active throughout the workday.
Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills when working with children and families.
Interest in pediatric healthcare, therapy, or child development strongly preferred.
