Job Description
The Assembler will perform general mechanical assembly work to build storage containers for batteries. This role involves using basic hand and power tools to caulk, hang doors, and complete routine assembly tasks while following instructions and maintaining a reliable work presence.
Responsibilities
Assemble storage containers for batteries according to provided instructions and specifications.
Perform caulking on assembled units to ensure proper sealing and finish.
Hang and install doors on storage containers using appropriate tools and hardware.
Use hand tools and basic power tools, including wrenches, to complete mechanical assembly tasks.
Follow verbal and written directions from supervisors to complete daily work assignments.
Work on an assembly or production line as needed to meet production goals and timelines.
Inspect work for basic quality and completeness before moving items to the next stage.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in an industrial setting.
Arrive on time and maintain consistent attendance to support production schedules.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while operating tools and working on the production floor.
Essential Skills
Ability to perform basic mechanical assembly tasks.
Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches and similar mechanical tools.
Comfort using basic power tools in a production or assembly environment.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new assembly tasks.
Ability to follow directions accurately and work as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and ability to show up consistently for scheduled shifts.
Capability to perform general labor duties in an industrial environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with assembly, production, or assembly line work is helpful but not required.
Familiarity with using power tools in a work setting is an advantage.
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
