Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Inpatient Hospice Unit
The Weekend CNA provides compassionate, hands-on care to patients in our inpatient hospice unit, supporting comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This role works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to meet patients' physical, emotional, and personal care needs in a calm, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Support a safe, clean, and comforting patient environment
Provide emotional support to patients and families with kindness and respect
Follow care plans, safety guidelines, and hospice standards of care
Qualifications:
Wisconsin CNA certification in good standing
Ability to work every other weekend (Sat/Sun) from 7am-7pm
Ability to pick up additional shifts throughout the week as needed
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Previous healthcare or hospice experience preferred
