Physical Therapy - Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We're looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience supporting physical therapy services in a hospital or Inpatient Rehabilitation setting. Minimum Qualifications:
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment required
Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting required
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
Current, valid, and active driver's license required
Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:
Current, valid, and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Experience implementing physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Ability to assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic medical record systems
Strong communication and patient education skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
