Operations Technician
JCM Industries currently has a job opportunity for an Operations Technician. This position is responsible for managing local scheduling and real-time operations that facilitate the maximization of resources.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities -
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Interfaces with management to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provides input on production needs, identifies needs
Monitors and reports production backlog and inventory
Monitors and reconciles cycle counts for all materials
Creates new critical request dates for backorders for backlog updating
Works with factory facility to investigate job order issues and resolutions
Makes change orders to include add-ons, changes and holds
Creates labels for finished product and off sight work centers
Prints production lists for the factory floor
Evaluates BOM's for accuracy
Pulls customer supplied components
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Works to achieve production deadlines, consistent communication with sales and overall company goals
Handles Cloudsuite Industrial (CSI) corrections as assigned by Operations Supervisor.
Communicates with plant management about issues concerning CSI
Participate in the cycle count process
Monitors minimum and maximum levels of finished goods
