Are you a CNA who wants more than task-based care? As a Restorative Aide in our PACE program, you'll play a key role in helping participants regain strength, mobility, and independence.
Working alongside our skilled therapy team, you'll guide participants through individualized restorative programs designed to improve function and quality of life. This is an ideal role for those interested in rehabilitation, physical therapy, or advancing their clinical career.
What You'll Do
Assist participants with individualized restorative care plans under the direction of therapy (PT/OT) staff
Support walking, mobility, range-of-motion, and strengthening programs
Encourage participant participation, independence, and progress toward goals
Accurately document participant performance and progress
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
Have weekends off with a Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p schedule
What is PACE?
PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states.
The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.
What You Bring:
Current Colorado CNA license maintained throughout employment.
One year's experience with frail or elderly population is required.
Experience working in a rehab environment preferred
Passion for participant-centered care and rehabilitation
Valid Colorado driver's license, unlimited access to reliable transportation, and adequate automobile insurance is maintained throughout employment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Current CPR Certification is maintained throughout employment.
Adequate computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effectively work with and build relationships with others.
Effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing in a multitude of situations and settings, including highly emotional interactions.
What We Offer:
Competitive pay structure starting at $20.00-$22.13 per hour, depending on experience.
