Quality Assurance Inspector
The responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Inspector include but are not limited to:
Fill out the Quality Assurance Daily Reports.
Perform a resin check of the molding floor.
Check cycle times of molding machines that are running.
Pick up a complete shot of parts off of each molding press that is running.
Size molding parts and check the jobs on the molding floor and document all findings.
Notify Process Techs and QA Shift Lead/GL/Manager of defects and size problems on molded parts.
Weigh molding parts and document findings
Perform a squeeze test and lid fit test if applicable
Check the jobs on the Print floor and document findings
Check core shift.
Route all papers to be filed into appropriate folders or files.
The qualifications include:
High school education or equivalent.
Good color perception.
Self-motivated.
Good organizational skills.
Good math skills.
Good communication skills.
Previous quality experience preferred.
