Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Requirements:
2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
Medical Assistant Certification
Active American Heart Association BLS certification
2 Supervisory Reference Forms, dated within the last two years
Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (Medical Assistant)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist the physician and other staff to ensure efficient office operations.
Provide direct patient care services including routine vital signs and gathering medical history.
Educate and prepare patients for office procedures.
Assist the physician with the collection and preparation of specimens.
Administer injections under the direct supervision of the physician.
Notify patients of test results and the recommended plan of care, as directed by the physician.
Compliance / Notes:
Travelers must have their own vehicle for the assignment.
Candidates should look into housing before submitting.
Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
Permanent addresses within a 100-mile radius will not be considered.
