Performs a range of duties to include but not limited to patient registration, ordering tests, specimen procurement and specimen processing.
Qualifications
Education
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Work Experience
No experience required Required
1 year Phlebotomist experience Preferred
Experience in a hospital Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
PHEL - Phlebotomy Trained Completion of Phlebotomy clinical training through on-the-job training or through a phlebotomy program Preferred
CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
