Summer Production Openings
Bongards is looking to add seasonal production workers at our Perham, MN facility. The shifts for PM Cheese Packagers are 6 PM to 6 AM and the shifts for AM Cheese Packagers are 6 AM to 6 PM. The position will be for 90 days maximum.
Job duties include operating block towers and barrel line and related equipment, using a forklift to transfer barrels to the cooler, operating boxer and related equipment, watching the quality of blocks being formed, performing all necessary sanitation procedures, maintaining floor sanitation and cleanliness of other work-related areas, keeping clear, accurate, and timely records, and keeping the work area clean. Understand the plant's commitment to customer's expectations and quality. Must report all quality and food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead.
Position requirements include demonstrating excellent communication skills, being able to follow both written and verbal instructions, demonstrating a commitment to both food and employee safety, and being able to lift up to 50 lbs. Work environment includes exposure to noise, heat, and cleaning chemicals.
