Machine Operator

The Machine Operator will be responsible of the equipment and ensure proper set up, start up, shut-down procedures and safe operation. The operator will play a key role in improving safety, quality, productivity, and cost on existing manufacturing processes.
Essential Responsibilities

Operate and monitor tubular steel production.
Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment for production runs.
Be able to perform basic welding to attach ends of steel coils.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of finished products.
Perform basic math calculations to determine dimensions, tolerances, and angles.
Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
Manage the production team of 4 people to meet daily production.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications

Proficiency in operating CNC machines, and other milling equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret work orders.
Familiarity with using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Basic math skills for performing calculations related to dimensions, tolerances, and angles.
Experience in fabricating and assembling components.
Knowledge of stationary crane operation for moving heavy materials.
Safety Requirements
