Mountain City Rehab Center, a 99-bed skilled nursing facility in Frostburg, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA-1) to join our team. As a CNA-1, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, supporting their daily living activities, and promoting a positive and comfortable environment.
Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding)
Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators
Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to nursing staff
Support residents' emotional and social well-being with kindness and respect
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver individualized care
Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives
Be sensitive to residents' families and respond in an appropriate professional way as the situation requires
Keep residents' bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy
Answer call lights promptly
CNA-1 in Maryland
Previous experience in long-term or skilled nursing care preferred
A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and vulnerable populations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Competitive hourly rates: $18.75 - $24.25 HOURLY
