Production Baker

The Production Baker is responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread, bagels, and pastries in a fast-paced production kitchen. This role works independently to complete daily production tasks while maintaining high standards for quality, consistency, and food safety.
We're looking for an individual who is excited to provide first-class guest experience, can uphold our brand values, and has prior experience with baking.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of products including yeasted bread, bagels, and pastries.
Mix, shape, proof, bake, and finish products according to recipes and quality standards.
Complete daily prep tasks independently and efficiently in a production environment.
Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across all batches.
Monitor timing, measurements, and product appearance to ensure quality control.
Manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
Label, date, and store food properly following FIFO (first in, first out) practices.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and production ready.
Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with team members as needed.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and accurately.
Report low stock levels, maintenance needs, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
Provide warm, positive, and professional interactions that enhance the guest experience.
Uphold company policies, procedures, and dress code at all times.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of yeasted doughs, fermentation, and proofing techniques.
Experience preparing bagels and pastry doughs.
High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistent product quality.
Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable for production output.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with vegan and/or gluten-free baking preferred.
Dependable, punctual, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
Enthusiasm for wellness, sustainability, and plant-based living.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of professional baking experience preferred.
Food Handlers Certification or ServeSafe preferred.
