CNC Machinist

Night Shift Schedule: Night Shift

Approximately 4048 hours per week Core hours: MondayThursday, 7:00 PM

6:30 AM Overtime may be required on Fridays and Saturdays Pay Rate: $55,000/yr - $61,000/yr.
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team on the night shift. This role is responsible for setting up and operating advanced CNC equipment, ensuring high-quality production while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines, including mill-turn equipment, multi-axis lathes, or similar machinery
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job instructions to determine machining requirements
Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Communicate production issues and improvement opportunities to leadership
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC lathes or mill-turn equipment (required)
Experience with multi-axis machining (strongly preferred)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficient in using precision measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to learn new equipment and adapt to evolving processes
