Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cut Lister/Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will use KCD Software to create precise cut lists, shop drawings, and CNC production files for custom closet and cabinetry projects. You'll collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure seamless execution from design to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate accurate cut lists, panel optimization, and CNC files using KCD Software.
Translate client designs into detailed production plans, including 3D renderings and shop drawings.
Ensure designs meet specifications, optimize material usage, and maintain high-quality standards.
Collaborate with designers, production staff, and installers to streamline workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the design-to-production process.
Purchase products from established vendors for each project reviewed.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in KCD Software for cabinetry or closet design (required).
Experience in cut list generation, CNC programming, or cabinet engineering.
Strong understanding of woodworking, cabinet construction, and material optimization.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with 3D rendering and shop drawing creation is a plus.
Must have 3 solid references and be able to pass a background check.
