We are seeking a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community.
What You'll Do The OPS Honors Program Staff monitors the Honors Lounge, assists students, and provides front-line support by helping Honors students navigate academic planning and college success resources, including online support tools.
Key responsibilities will include:
Monitoring the Honors Lounge to ensure a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment.
Assisting Honors students with general questions and directing them to appropriate resources.
Guiding students in using online academic tools including creating academic plans and tracking academic progress.
Assisting students in locating information about transfer institutions and degree pathways.
Providing basic troubleshooting assistance for online student systems.
Referring complex academic or advising concerns to Honors Program Director.
Maintaining confidentiality of student information.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday- maximum of 25 hours per week.
Positions will work one of the following shifts:
8:00 am
12:30 pm
12:30 pm
5:00 pm
Who We're Looking For We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.
A high school diploma or its equivalent, and two (2) years of progressively responsible secretarial and/or clerical experience; or a combination of education and/or experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable using computer-based systems and online tools.
Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to explain academic processes and online systems clearly.
Dependable, organized, and punctual.
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
