Molding Set Up Technician 2nd Shift
Assure that tooling, presses, and workstations are properly set-up and ready for production.
Qualifications:
5 years experience setting up molding machinery
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must communicate effectively and professionally in a team environment.
Essential Functions:
Effectively and efficiently set-up and operate punch press and/or press brake.
Effectively and efficiently handle the throughput of parts on punch press and/or press brake in accordance with inspection instruction sheets, blue prints, layouts, bills of materials and instructions in a timely and organized manner.
Effectively and efficiently feeds parts through timesavers in accordance with inspection instruction sheets, blue prints, layouts, bills of materials and instructions in a timely and organized manner.
Inspects processed parts ensuring that precision operations (punches, brakes, etc..) were performed; Reworks poor quality parts as necessary.
Communicates with department supervisor and co-workers sub-standard conditions and potential process improvements; Provides continual input and suggestions for improving quality/productivity of department.
