Overnight Male Caregiver Needed for Both AM and PM Shifts
Candidate must be flexible for days and night shifts as this is a 24/7 care client. Caregiver must be either willing to travel to Laguna Woods or ideal candidate should be close to the client's home.
Company: Griswold Home Care for Laguna Hills Location: Client Resides in Laguna Woods Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Shift: Days and Nights (8AM-8PM AND 8PM TO 8AM)
Pay: $19$25 per hour (depending on experience, skills, length of employment, and education)
Bonus Structure: $250 New Hire Bonus will be paid when the caregiver works 150 hours with this client and you must be in good standing to be eligible for the bonus.

Laguna Hills is currently hiring a male caregiver for an overnight shift (8PM8AM) in Laguna Woods, CA. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and engaging professional to provide attentive care and ensure client safety throughout the night.
Responsibilities:
Provide overnight supervision and ensure client safety
Assist with toileting, mobility, and nighttime routines
Reposition client as needed for comfort and care
Assist with transfers as needed
Monitor changes in condition and report to care team
Perform light housekeeping related to client care
Accurately document care provided during shift
Qualifications:
Male caregiver (required due to client preference)
Must reside in the local area or within a 5-mile radius of Laguna Woods (per client request)
Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience working with a licensed home care agency (required)
Per client request: no private caregivers or family care giving experience will be considered- Must have home care experience and/or currently working with a home care agency.
Must be willing and able to safely assist with transfers for a client weighing approximately 150200 lbs (client can assist)
Strong communication skills must be able to communicate verbally and in writing and accurately document care in English
Friendly personality with a great sense of humor (client enjoys joking and engaging conversation)
Must be able to stay awake and alert during entire shift
Reliable, patient, and professional
CPR/First Aid certification (required)
Reliable transportation

Requirements for the Position:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Licensing:
Must have an HCA ID # and eligibility letter through the CA Department of Social Services
TB Test:
Current copy of TB results within the last year (and annually thereafter).
Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience working with seniors in a home care setting is preferred
Knowledge:
Must be willing to learn about chronic conditions, or have experience/expertise in dementia or Alzheimer's-related diseases.
Transportation:
A valid driver's license and car insurance are required, as transportation services are part of the job.
Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Background Check:
Ability to pass a criminal background check and become active on the California Home Care Registry.
References:
At least four professional references who can speak to your experience as a caregiver, along with two personal references.
