Sag Harbor, NY (Ongoing Position)
We are seeking a compassionate, engaging, and reliable caregiver to provide companion care for an elderly gentleman with early-stage dementia in Sag Harbor, NY.
Position Details:
Start Date: Week of May 3, 2026
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM
1:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Responsibilities Include:
Providing meaningful companionship and social interaction
Engaging in cognitive activities such as puzzles, games, and conversation
Encouraging mental stimulation and routine
Taking the client for walks and light outdoor activity
Preparing meals and light cooking
Light housekeeping related to client care
Supporting a safe, structured, and positive daily environment
Ideal Candidate:
Experience with dementia care (preferred, especially early-stage)
Warm, patient, and engaging personality
Enjoys interactive activities and keeping clients mentally stimulated
Comfortable with cooking and meal preparation
Reliable and consistent with scheduling
