Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a Top Secret cleared Supply Tech to support the FBI/FLSD in Quantico, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Supply Technician will assist in the operation of the Defensive Systems Unit (DSU), Weapons Maintenance Facility (WMF), Quantico, VA, in inventory, record keeping, data entry, correspondence, and related administrative tasks, to support the unit mission in tracking all weapons and ballistic protective armor via the Asset Management System (AMS). Conduct a myriad of inventory management functions involving a large variety of valuable law enforcement sensitive equipment and property which includes ballistic protective armor (BPA) (body armor, ballistic plates, and ballistic helmets) and weapons, (handguns, shotguns, and rifles). Properly and accurately complete records pertaining to FBI BPA and weapons; perform the necessary administrative steps to issue or receive returned items. Adhere to establish processes to receive, issue, transfer, and surplus BPA and weapons. Conduct inventories and prepare reports regarding inventory activity; search inventory records (both manually and on computer systems) to locate related assets. Perform data entry of BPA and weapons into FBJ Asset Management System (AMS) including building assets from purchase orders, assigning BPA and weapons to Agent personnel throughout the FBI, and preparing documents for destruction. Conduct inventories of all weapons returned from the DSU Mobile Weapons Maintenance trips, catalog all weapons, prepare service requests for destruction, and photograph all serial numbers for permanent record. Prepare reports and correspondence as required. Assist the program manager, body armor, in the sizing and fitting of Basic Field Training Course (BFTC) students for FBI issued body armor. Prepare in support of issuance of BFTC body armor, FD-281 Receipt of Government Property forms for all students and input receipt of property into AMS. Prepare issuance documents in support of other FBI employees maintaining accurate records of such issuance and return. Conduct research of various records.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance by the FBI. Demonstrate knowledge of inventory techniques for weapons and related equipment, including tracking property through records searches. Demonstrate ability to accurately record information, both manually and through computer systems. Demonstrate ability to interact professionally with FBI employees and vendors. Ability to reconcile purchasing documents including packing slips, purchasing orders, and invoices. Ability to prepare necessary documentation to issue equipment, receive returned assets, and dispose of surplus assets in accordance with established policies or procedures. Ability to prepare reports and other documents using computer software including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Intuit QuickBooks, and FBI proprietary computer systems such as Asset Management System Hourly Rate: $39.97/hour CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level, relevant experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
