Fabricator Mig Welder First Shift
Position Fabricator MIG Welder 1st Shift Pay $24 per hour Shift 5:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday overtime as needed
Job Summary IKG is seeking a skilled Fabricator MIG Welder to join our 1st shift team. This role focuses on welding stair treads and related components performing straight line MIG welding with additional fabrication duties including grinding and torch cutting. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on stair treads and other assigned parts
Complete straight line welds with consistent quality and accuracy
Grind, torch cut, and perform other fabrication tasks as needed
Inspect finished welds and parts to ensure compliance with specifications
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings
Follow all safety guidelines maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job requirements and issues
Assist with other fabrication duties as assigned to meet production goals
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
MIG welding experience required, fabrication experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
Knowledge of grinding and cutting tools
Strong attention to detail and quality
Physically able to stand, bend, and lift materials in a manufacturing environment
Safety focused with reliable attendance
