What You'll Do
As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in supporting our residents' daily lives by:
Providing routine daily nursing care in accordance with care plans
Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care)
Monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
Taking and recording vital signs (TPRs), weights, and food/fluid intake
Answering call lights promptly and ensuring resident comfort and safety
Assisting with mobility: lifting, turning, repositioning, and transporting residents
Supporting admissions, transfers, and discharges with care and professionalism
Maintaining accurate, timely documentation
Creating a warm, respectful, and positive environment for residents and families
Your Responsibilities
Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and HIPAA guidelines
Report incidents, concerns, or changes in resident condition immediately
Use proper identification procedures before providing care or services
Ensure residents' rooms are clean, safe, and welcoming
Protect resident dignity, privacy, and rights at all times
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary teams
What We're Looking For
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
CPR certification (preferred)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to detail
Ability to follow instructions and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Minimum of 10th-grade education
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret instructions and procedures
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting residents
Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
