Certified Medical Assistant Lead Neurology Clinic

Certified Medical Assistants are essential to delivering whole-person care to our patients within our Neurology Clinic. We offer a Medical Assistant Clinical Ladder to support growth and development within our connected system, as well as a specialized path for those dedicated to cardiac care. Our Medical Assistants, especially those in our Neurology Clinic, are highly valued team members with an important voice in this organization. Our MAs, in partnership with clinic staff and operations, created a structured approach to a more effective, efficient workaround that maintains appropriate workloads and provides a clearer path for professional development. In addition, we've established one of the first-ever MA Apprenticeship programs in partnership with an accredited local college to educate and prepare future MAs for success, including those aspiring to specialize in neurology.
This role supports the healthcare team and the patient/family by identifying and meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will promote the patient's optimal health, well-being, and safety in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the delegation of medical services as defined by the State Medical Practice Act, with a special focus on the unique needs of neurology patients.
