Chemical Dependency Aide
To assist the professional personnel by performing routine functions of patient care and support. Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse. Adheres to the professional standards of NYS OASAS
1. Supervise patients, including coordination of activities, meals and ADL's.
2. Clerical functions and ordering.
3. Transport urines, register patients, accompany patients to appointments.
4. Documentation - On-the-job orientation and in-services provided
High School Diploma/Equivalent.

Note: Not all per diem roles are union eligible
S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
