Nurse Aide Transition Course

This course gives you the opportunity to achieve professional development by receiving a dual certification to become a certified Home Health Aide and a Home & Community Support Services Certification
which will enable you to care for clients in the Traumatic Brain Injury and Nursing Home Transition Diversion Waiver programs.
Summary of Position: Home Health Aides provide personal care and health related services to patients. HHA's work in the client's homes and assist them with:
Personal care
Light housekeeping, including laundry
Exercise programs
Vital signs
Ostomy care
Simple dressing changes
Preparing and assisting with meals
Shopping and running errands
Companionship
Starting pay rate $20.00 per hour. Sign-on bonus of $500.00 is available upon successful completion of specific milestones per company policy.
