Salary range: $17-$24/hr
Essential Job Duties:
Clean, sterilize, and sharpen dental instruments
Oil and clean equipment
Follow infection control recommendations and safety guidelines
Demonstrate knowledge of various consents (oral surgery, papoose, endo, etc.)
Take dental X-ray photographs; develop and mount X-ray films (including for urgent care patients)
Prepare and file case histories and treatment records, ensuring charts are up-to-date
Requirements:
Education:
Verifiable attendance at a four-hour State Board-approved radiation seminar with certification to operate dental X-ray equipment, or student status
Licensure:
Registered in the State of Iowa with additional qualification in Radiography, along with current CPR certification
