About the Company
We are a locally and privately owned company that started out in 2012 with offering paintless dent repair services that quickly expanded into offering additional services such as auto and marine detailing and auto body repair. Reports To
The Estimator will report to the Production Manager.

Job Overview
The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, creating preliminary repair estimates, and guiding customers through the repair process from start to finish. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the customer, insurance companies, and the repair facility, ensuring repairs are performed correctly, safely, and in compliance with OEM procedures.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and confident communicating with insurance adjusters while advocating for proper repairs. This position plays a critical role in customer satisfaction, shop profitability, and overall workflow efficiency.

Job Duties

Inspect vehicles to accurately identify damage and understand vehicle design

Document vehicle damage thoroughly with notes and photos

Create accurate repair estimates and supplements using estimating software

Research and follow OEM repair procedures and safety requirements

Greet customers and gather all required customer, vehicle, and insurance information

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and insurance processes

Provide timely follow-ups and status updates to customers throughout the repair process

Serve as the primary point of communication between customers, insurance partners, and technicians

Collaborate with technicians during disassembly and repair planning

Ensure repairs meet company quality and safety standards

Maintain organized repair files and a clean, organized work environment

Effectively manage multiple repairs in a fast-paced environment

Problem-solve repair challenges as they arise

Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Physical requirements: Able to lift 45lbs, as well as stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and bend for extending periods of time

Not Necessary but beneficial

2-year of automotive industry experience

Able to drive a manual transmission

Familiar with CCC One or other estimating software
