Qualifications for Rehab Aide:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
Experience with MS Word & Excel preferred
Ability to perform essential tasks and physical requirements
Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures
Prior experience in a healthcare facility a plus
Responsibilities for Rehab Aide:
Performs therapist approved exercise programs or ambulation programs under the direct supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist
Carries out maintenance program as outlined by a licensed therapist
Provides patients with proper instruction and teaches correct exercise form
Complies with state, federal and APTA/AOTA standards of practice when carrying out treatment programs and other functions in direct supervision of MA licensed physical or occupational therapist
Assists therapists with group treatments and transportation of patients
