What you'll do:
Responsibilities/Duties:
Ensuring orders of Dopplers and medications for patients are processed.
Scheduling of IMEs and phone depositions.
Assisting with iPads with patients.
Setting up team meetings with depts.
Setting up meetings for doctors with vendors.
Filing all doctors' certificates and refilling for all reappointments for hospitals.
Relay patient and physician messages internally and externally.
Main hub for telecommunications with all depts (example MRI front desk physicians, PT).
Sometimes room patients if short staffed in the office.
Obtaining medical records (operative reports) for patients and other departments (i.e.: billing dept).
When other admin assistants are out of the office ensure that their work is covered so that important tasks are not overlooked or delayed.
Triage patient calls.
Manage the physician's schedules to ensure proper template is being followed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong Excel, Word & Outlook skills.
Strong customer service support skills.
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills

verbal & written.
Punctual, reliable, hardworking, well organized, professional and detail orientated.
Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly.
Knowledge of administrative procedures.
