Quality Control Inspector
3rd Shift
We are seeking a diligent Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections on PET preforms and bottles during the 3rd shift. This position focuses on evaluating wall thickness, weight, color, and structural integrity to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect production lines at startup and throughout shifts to verify product quality.
Use precision tools (calipers, scales, automated scanners) to measure critical quality parameters.
Identify, document, and report defects or deviations promptly to prevent nonconforming products.
Initiate corrective and preventive actions as needed to maintain adherence to customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with packaging safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in quality control, plastics, injection molding, or manufacturing preferred but not required; comprehensive training provided.
Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using inspection and measurement tools.
