Patient Care Assistant (PCA)

Pay Range: $17.50 - $24.50
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our care team. Ideal candidates are compassionate, patient-focused team members who provide hands-on support with daily living activities to help ensure comfort and safety. PCAs work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care and assist patients in a respectful and dignified manner.
Position Specifics

Department: Med Surg
Core Function: Nursing Support
Schedule: PRN, as needed
Facility: St. Anthony's Hospital
Location: Effingham, IL
Compensation: Compensation that aligns with your experience, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends
Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience Qualifications

1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.
