Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities Include:
Required to train/qualify at the following operator jobs:
Cold Mill Operator
Coil Finishing Operator - TL
Coil Finishing Operator - HV
Utility Operator
Lab Tech.
Shipping and Receiving Operator
Entry/Exit Operator
Must possess a high degree of safety awareness. Must be knowledgeable and be willing to comply with plant safety rules and departmental safety practices.
Strong decision-making skills.
Problem solving skills.
Must be knowledgeable about all phases of the Finishing Plant production processes.
Leadership, teamwork, and coaching skills are required.
Strong verbal communications skills.
Basic computer skills.
Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
Good work attendance is required (less than four attendance points).
Required Qualifications:
GED or High School Diploma

Novelis employs more than 300 people in the Davenport community across two facilities: a finishing mill and a casting facility.
