Requirements:
Must meet NYSED fingerprinting requirements
Must meet civil service requirements
Class B commercial driver's license, with P and S endorsements
Approval by New York DMV bus driver unit "active-school qualified"
Meets NY commissioner of education standards as a school bus driver
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Physical abilities commensurate with demands of the position
Proven safe bus driving skills
Must commit to scheduled hours
Hours: Vary depending on the bus route
Effective: Immediately
