Job Type: Full-Time Work Setting: School-Based Pediatric Services Location: Richmond & Vallejo, CA NEW GRADUATES ARE WELCOMED
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist Assistant to provide services to pediatric patients from birth to 18 years old in a supportive clinical and school-based environment. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and provide high-quality, patient-centered speech therapy services. Both experienced therapists and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations appropriate to the patient's diagnosis and developmental needs.
Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals.
Establish functional, measurable, and achievable therapy goals.
Provide speech therapy interventions tailored to each patient's developmental level and needs.
Perform re-evaluations and update treatment plans according to patient progress and departmental guidelines.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and early intervention specialists.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and clinical staff.
Support patients in achieving improved communication skills and developmental outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active California Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license.
1-3 years of experience in school-based or clinic-based settings preferred.
Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
New graduates are welcome to apply.
