Machine Operator
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting assembly and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a strong commitment to quality, and a proactive approach to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: New Bern, NC
Pay Range: $17.00
Shift: 1st (Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm)
What's the Job?
Select, inspect, assemble, and package products for final shipment to customers
Apply labels and palletize products according to specifications
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment; identify and correct safety issues before operations
Request packaging materials from the warehouse as needed and inspect for shipping damage or supplier defects
Perform finished goods inspections and report components requiring rework or scrapping to the Team Leader
What's Needed?
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Knowledge of safety practices and compliance requirements
Experience in assembly, packaging, or manufacturing preferred
Credential requirements: Background check; drug testing
