Production Operator
The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Supporting production by monitoring processes, ordering inputs, loading semi-finished materials, inspecting materials, and performing quality inspections to release product
Operate automated production converting, assembly, and packaging equipment.
Monitor process, order inputs, load semi-finished materials, inspect materials, perform quality inspections to release product.
Operate equipment in safe manner.
Follow plant and department safety rules and practices.
Work closely with other operators, and service groups to optimize process including timeliness of product flow.
Monitor equipment and make required adjustments to maintain quality and desired output.
Computer use is required to run process operation.
Meet performance/output goals.
Your Skills and Expertise
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)
Interested in and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled which includes working 8 to 12 consecutive hours per day on a weekly rotating shift (i.e. Week 1: 4pm-midnight, Week 2: 8am-4pm) or a fixed midnight shift (i.e. midnight-8am), or a fixed 4 Crew shift (i.e. 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am).
Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process
Ability to operate computers to run process improvements.

The starting rate of pay for this position is $23.12/hour with a $0.50 shift differential for second shift and a $2.00 shift differential for third shift. This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
