Production Technician
Job Title: Dairy Production Technician (Reprocessing / Pasteurization) Company: Kelly Services Location: Columbia, Missouri Start Date: May 4 Pay Rate: $20/hour Position Overview Kelly Services is partnering with a client in Columbia, MO to hire Dairy Production Technicians responsible for supporting milk reprocessing operations. This role involves handling raw dairy products, operating equipment, and ensuring proper pasteurization processes are followed in a fast-paced production environment.
Schedule
12-hour rotating shifts (2-3-2 schedule)
Example (2-week cycle): Work Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun, Wed, Thurs
1st Shift: 6:00 AM
6:00 PM
2nd Shift: 6:00 PM
6:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
Open milk containers and safely transfer product into processing equipment
Operate and monitor pasteurization/reprocessing machinery
Ensure proper handling and sanitation procedures are followed
Maintain consistent production flow and meet daily output goals
Perform basic quality checks and report any issues or inconsistencies
Follow all safety, food handling, and GMP guidelines
Keep work area clean and organized
Qualifications
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
Ability to lift and handle materials as needed
Strong attention to detail and safety
Requirements
Must pass background check
Must pass 10-panel drug screen (THC not included)
