Production Associate: Freeport, Illinois
Our customer in Freeport, Illinois, is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Production Associate to work full-time on 2nd shift. In this role, you will support manufacturing operations by operating equipment, handling materials, and performing quality checks to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities of the Production Associate:
Perform a variety of manufacturing duties to support production goals and objectives.
Install and feed progressively smaller dies into machines according to work order specifications.
Insert wire into machines, start equipment, and monitor machine operations.
Repeat operations until wire diameter meets required specifications.
Apply soap to finished products and perform quality checks on output.
Handle and relocate materials throughout the production area.
Operate a forklift to move materials as needed.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.
Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
Production Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing experience required.
Minimum of one (1) year of forklift experience required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and pull throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on an infrequent basis.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
$19.00/hour.

Friday from 3:00pm
11:30pm. Mandatory overtime as needed, including Saturdays (typically 4 hours).
