Quality Technician

A successful Quality Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, hands on experience inspecting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be able to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards.
Quality Technician Responsibilities:

Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
Work with the Quality Engineer implementing quality control systems, quality standards and procedures.
Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues.
Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
Monitor and analyze quality performance.
Work directly with machine operators and line attendants to understand and identify quality defects.
Quality Technician Requirements:

Degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or Technical Trade Preferred.
ASQ certification preferred.
3+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, inspections, or a similar role.
Experience with quality system tools and gauges.

Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching may be required during routine office activities. Employees must have adequate vision and hearing to effectively use a computer, participate in meetings, and communicate with colleagues and external contacts. Mental demands include the ability to maintain attention to detail, manage multiple priorities, follow instructions, and communicate effectively with employees and management. Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment within a manufacturing facility. While most duties are performed in an office setting, occasional presence on the production floor may be required. Employees may be exposed to moderate noise levels typical of a manufacturing environment. Employees visiting the production floor may be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company safety policies.
