Warehouse Associate
Are you tech savvy and have warehouse experience? Our client is looking for a warehouse associate to join their team! If you are interested in getting into the IT field or enjoy working in a warehouse setting, the warehouse associate position is the job for you!
Status: Temp To Hire
Compensation: $22.00
Location: Sterling, VA
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM
Roles and Responsibilities
Participates in all aspects of shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse
Ability to manage the installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously is a plus
Ability to work with limited supervision on a daily basis
Ability to perform inventory counts and audits as needed
Ability to perform data collection and recording
Qualifications and Education Requirements
1-2 years of working in a warehouse setting
Knowledge of basic computer imaging processes utilizing Ghost preferred
Highschool or GED required
Preferred Skills
Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and work with customers, teams, and management at all levels in a cross-functional environment
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes
Critical thinking and problem solving
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Experience with UPS program and shipping policies
Some Technical/computer support skills preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Must have a positive attitude and be very detail oriented
Able to move quickly to meet warehouse demands
Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. repetitively
Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
