Experienced Meat Cutter Wanted
Carlie C's IGA is seeking an experienced meat cutter to fill an immediate opening. Only candidates with prior experience in all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken in a grocery store meat market environment will be considered. The ideal candidate is proficient in using band saws, slicers, cubers, grinders, and knives to cut all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken. Wrapping skills are also required, as well as maintaining all sanitation and safety requirements. This is a full-time position with optional company benefits. The candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, which will include weekend work and most holidays.

Duties
Cutting, grinding, slicing, trimming, weighing, sealing, packaging, and labeling products.
Unloading trucks and storing products in the proper place. Checking product dates and rotating properly.
Sanitizing and cleaning equipment. Keeping meat department floors clean of clutter.
Assisting customers in finding products; waiting on them at the counter timely and cheerfully.
Qualifications
Must be able to lift 80 lbs with no assistance.
Must be at least 18 years of age, friendly, outgoing, neat, and clean in appearance.
Must enjoy working with the public.
Must be very customer oriented.
Must be able to read shelf tags, labels, and signs.
Must have a good work record as a meat cutter.
