Production Worker

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Production Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for palletizing and shrink wrapping products, cleaning and sanitizing workstations, and moving products and materials using a manual pallet jack. You will weigh products before they are transferred to the warehouse and record digital weights accurately. Additionally, you will handle bags weighing up to 50 lbs and push or pull bowls on wheels weighing up to 1,000 lbs, performing these tasks as part of your daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities

Palletize and shrink wrap products.
Clean and sanitize workstations.
Move products and materials using a manual pallet jack.
Weigh products and record digital weights.
Handle bags weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier loads.
Push and pull bowls weighing up to 1,000 lbs on wheels, completing at least 8 bowls per shift.
Essential Skills

Experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, or a related environment within the last 5 years.
At least 1 year of continuous employment with the same company in the last 5 years.
Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day, as verified by past experience and references.
Capability to lift 50 lbs, as verified by past experience and references.
Willingness and ability to drive a forklift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with tape measure, cleaning, loading, sweeping, machine operation, sorting, production, manufacturing, food production, general labor, assembly, hand tools, packaging, construction, packing, forklift, and power tools.
High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

You will work in a production facility where safety and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are paramount. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, hair nets, eye protection, jeans, shirts, bump caps, and lab coats. The facility can be hot during summer, reaching up to 90 degrees in some manufacturing rooms, but is comfortable in winter. Shifts are from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm or 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Fridays. Arrive 15 minutes early for a paid temperature screening.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $22.00/hr.
