Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Driver
Warehouse workers and temporary cover drivers work inside the warehouse and drive our familiar brown trucks when needed, delivering packages to customers. They are a friendly, physically active crew who enjoy fast-paced work and being outdoors.
While functioning as a temporary cover driver, you will be required to:
Work 8
10 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday
Saturday)
Have excellent customer contact and driving skills
While functioning as a warehouse worker you will:
Typically work 3
- 5 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday-Saturday)
Be required to work your assigned shift (based on operational needs)
To make it through a busy shift either loading/unloading boxes or delivering boxes of all shapes and sizes to homes and businesses in your community and beyond, you need:
The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Stamina
this is a workout like no other!
Valid driver's licenseno CDL required (Type varies by State)
Pass the DOT physical
Excellent customer contact and driving skills
Legal right to work in the U.S.
Temporary cover drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
