General Production Worker
The General Production Worker operates machinery in the photo etching department to process thin metal sheets, ensuring products meet quality standards through careful handling, measurement, and inspection. This role involves working in both cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments, using specialized equipment such as microscopes to perform detailed visual inspections.
Responsibilities
Operate machines in the photo etching department by dipping metal sheets into a solution and loading them onto the machine for the etching process.
Unload thin metal sheets from the finishing machine and handle them carefully to avoid damage.
Place finished parts into jigs to measure dimensions and verify that they meet required specifications.
Perform detailed visual inspections of parts, including using a microscope to identify defects or irregularities.
Follow established production procedures and work instructions to maintain consistent product quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, particularly in cleanroom environments, to support product quality and safety.
Wear required personal protective equipment, including lab coat, hair net, safety glasses, and mask when working in the cleanroom.
Stand for the duration of the shift while operating equipment and performing inspections.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support a strong team-oriented work culture.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Cleanroom experience is preferred.
Experience using a microscope for inspection is preferred.
Background in medical assembly, cleanroom assembly, or similar precision work is beneficial.
Ability to adapt to working under yellow lighting conditions in the photo etching rooms.
Attention to detail and a focus on quality in all production tasks.

This role is based in a very clean, well-organized, and well-lit production facility that includes both cleanroom and non-cleanroom areas. You will stand for the entire shift while operating machines and inspecting parts. Photo etching rooms operate under yellow lighting, which differs from normal lighting but is easy to adjust to once inside the facility. When working in the cleanroom, you will wear a lab coat, hair net, safety glasses, and mask in accordance with cleanliness and safety standards. The environment supports precise, detail-oriented work with a focus on maintaining high quality and cleanliness throughout the production process.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
