Quality Inspector

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector responsible for inspecting all incoming materials, in-process, and final products. This role includes completing inspection reports and other necessary paperwork to ensure product quality assurance. You will operate material handling equipment, such as vacuum lift hoists and forklifts, while maintaining part traceability through various logs and part followers. Additionally, understanding the work order process, proper PPE use, and other safety measures related to cranes, forklifts, heat, and fire is crucial. Beyond inspection, you will support production through material handling and shipping and receiving duties.
Responsibilities
Inspect all incoming materials, in-process, and final products.
Complete inspection reports and necessary paperwork for product quality assurance.
Operate material handling equipment such as vacuum lift hoists and forklifts.
Maintain part traceability through completion of various logs and part followers.
Understand work order processes, proper PPE use, and safety measures related to cranes, forklifts, heat, and fire.
Support production through material handling and shipping and receiving duties.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in inspection, quality control, and quality inspection.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, depth gages, and taper gages.
Strong measurement and documentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must be able to closely follow instructions and read documents.
Experience with aerospace specifications is a plus.
Ability to document validation results.
Forklift certified or willingness to become certified within one month of hire.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irwindale, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
