Third Shift Material Handler / Forklift Operator Location: Auburn, IN Schedule and Pay Sunday through Thursday 11:00 PM
7:30 AM $17.00 per hour Some overtime may be required based on production needs
We are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking Material Handler / Forklift Operator for a busy manufacturing facility in Auburn, Indiana. This position plays an important role in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials are moved safely throughout the plant and operators remain stocked with the supplies they need to complete production orders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating a forklift as well as performing physical work, including moving and organizing materials manually when needed.
Job Duties
Operate a forklift to transport raw materials and finished products between production, storage, and staging areas.
Keep production operators supplied with the materials needed to maintain continuous workflow.
Move, organize, and stage materials throughout the facility using both forklift and manual handling.
Assist with loading, unloading, and relocating materials within the plant.
Maintain accurate records of material locations and inventory on the production floor.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is required.
Ability to perform physical work including lifting, moving, and organizing materials throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and ability to keep track of materials and locations.
Reliable attendance and ability to work the full second shift schedule.
Must be able to work overtime when production demands increase.
