The Massage Therapist at Endeavor Health, plays a vital role in promoting the well-being and comfort of patients by providing therapeutic massage services within a hospital setting. As a key member of the Integrative Medicine team, the Massage Therapist will work closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patients' physical and emotional health through the power of touch.
What you will do:
Performing therapeutic massages on patients in accordance with their individualized treatment plans, addressing specific health concerns and goals.
Conducting thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and current conditions to ensure safe and appropriate massage therapy interventions.
Collaborating with healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to integrate massage therapy into patients' overall care plans.
Customizing massage techniques and pressure levels to meet the unique needs of each patient, providing a personalized and comfortable experience.
Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and documentation of any adverse reactions or patient concerns
What you will need:
Education: Some college or equivalent training program is preferred.
Certification: Certification in specialized massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and aromatherapy is preferred.
CPR Certification required.
First Aid Certification required.
License from Professional Regulatory Services required.
Annual flu shot required.
Experience: Minimum of two years' of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist required.
