Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic - Woodward / Boreal

The Mechanic is responsible for the upkeep of Boreal and Soda Springs vehicles & equipment fleet. This includes preventative maintenance inspections (PMI), diagnosis and failure analysis, and all ensuing repairs/modifications. While following all Safety regulations and company SOPs, this position upholds the maximum availability of the company’s small engine vehicles & equipment.

This is a full-time year-round position with a robust benefits package including Paid Time Off, matching 401k, Health Benefits, Annual Bonus Incentive Program and a proposed hourly rate of $18 - $36 per hour. Pay rate may be adjusted based on experience.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

Performs PMIs, seasonal maintenance, and all repairs on the small engines, fleet; per manufacturer standards.

Troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, designs, and modifies electrical, hydrostatic, fuel, and diesel/gasoline engine systems

Assists with training of other resort employees in the areas of maintenance and operation of all equipment (Safety policies, safe operation, vehicle check-out procedures, etc.)

Safely operates all vehicles/equipment in order to perform diagnostic evaluation of pending and prior repairs

Keeps accurate and detailed records of work performed on each machine using service request forms, and seasonal maintenance worksheets.

Stays educated on current maintenance/repair technologies and equipment manuals in effort to uphold efficient operations

Can perform minor weld/fabrication projects

Position Requirements:

Must be familiar with maintenance AND operation of all vehicles and equipment

Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks at one time

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have a valid US driver's license

Must have toolbox/complete set of tools (metric and SAE) to perform all work on fleet vehicles (excluding “specialty tools”)
