Warehouse Order Picker / Packer
Our client, a leading distribution center specializing in outdoor recreation products, is seeking an Order Picker / Packer with inventory experience to join their team. As an Order Picker / Packer with inventory experience, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting the distribution process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Kansas City, MO
Pay Range: $17.50/hr
Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 5:30am - 5:30pm AND every other Wednesday 5:30am - 4pm. 36 hours 1 week and 46 hours the next.
What's the Job?
Operate and interact with robotic order-picking equipment to retrieve products efficiently and accurately.
Verify product information, quantities, and lot numbers to ensure order accuracy.
Pack orders using appropriate materials to protect products during shipment.
Prepare shipping labels and documentation using handheld scanners or warehouse software.
Monitor robotic systems for errors, jams, or alerts and escalate issues to maintenance or supervisors when needed.
What's Needed?
Ability to stand and walk throughout your shift (approximately 6-9 miles/day).
Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment preferred.
Comfort working with automated or robotic warehouse systems (training provided).
Ability to use handheld scanners, computers, and basic warehouse software.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift.
